(Calibration of control units)

The result:
For turbo/supercharged engines, an increase of performance from 12% to 35% and a significantly improved torque is expected. In normal conditions, natural aspirated engines should improve from 3% to 10%. This will improve acceleration and recovery in the entire rpm range. In normal driving conditions, better fuel economy can be achieved.

Reduce of fuel consumption and improving performance?
The torque curve tunning allows driving at lower engine speeds leading to an improved use of the gearbox. This avoids the constant gear reduction.
